All we hear is how bad the economy is, how bad peoples&#8217; lives are, how bad the job market is, and how many people are in trouble. That is enough to make anyone negative, but I want to give you the tools to combat it. I did hear one good piece of news yesterday&#8211;crime is down. At least, that is good.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, negativity can take over your life without you really knowing it if you will let it. It&#8217;s perfectly normal to be in a bad mood every now and then, but sometimes you&#8217;ll be so overwhelmingly negative that it&#8217;ll get in the way of reaching your goals. </p>
<p>Having a negative attitude hurts the people around you; but more importantly, it hurts you. When you determine the underlying cause of your negative attitude and take action to turn it around, you can begin a journey to the positive side of thinking. </p>
<p>Your goals and dreams for your life are a wonderful possibility. It may be a difficult journey to get there, but it&#8217;s certainly possible if you adopt a positive attitude and take concerted action to make them happen. </p>
<p>When you&#8217;re negative, however, the game stops in its tracks. You&#8217;re basically saying that you can&#8217;t or don&#8217;t think you can reach your goal, so you don&#8217;t even bother trying. Of course you&#8217;ll never reach your goal if you don&#8217;t try! </p>
<p><strong>Strategies To Overcome Negativity</strong></p>
<p>It doesn&#8217;t matter what the degree of your negativity is, you can take steps to get yourself out of that black hole. It&#8217;s not too late to turn your life around. Even if you&#8217;ve had negative attitudes throughout your lifetime, you can still change your manner of thinking.</p>
<p>Consider some of the following strategies for overcoming negativity:</p>
<p>1. Self-talk. You&#8217;re constantly telling yourself things throughout the day. You&#8217;re forming opinions, deciding what to do, and determining your self-worth. You can start correcting the way you think by paying close attention to your self-talk.  Also that is why I give you affirmations to read and say to yourself. Have you read them? Reading and saying them aloud is the best way.</p>
<p>* When you&#8217;re in the bathroom in the morning getting ready to go out and face the world, what are you telling yourself? Are you thinking about how much you&#8217;re going to accomplish today? Or are you getting yourself ready for failure? Take the positive route and your day will surely be better.</p>
<p>2. Look for the silver lining. The silver lining is always there waiting for you to discover it. When the chips are down, it&#8217;s especially easy to just wallow in negative energy. Know that you have the power to find that one small positive light among all the negativity. </p>
<p>3. Use daily affirmations. Affirmations can combat negativity as soon as the negative thought arrives in your head. Repeat positive affirmations to yourself daily, or post them in a place where you can see them often. This is a type of self hypnosis. We have to learn to use the power that is within us to heal ourselves, modify our behavior, and bring out the best that we have to offer.</p>
<p>* Remember just how powerful your mind is. When you continuously feed your mind with positivity, you can&#8217;t help but to become more positive. </p>
<p>4. Reduce stress. Negativity has a tendency to arise out of stressful situations. If you lead a high stress life, then these stressful situations may become the norm for you. Your best bet is to find a way to get out of too many stressful situations, or at least study ways to better deal with the stress.</p>
<p>5. Give yourself time to think. Instead of letting yourself get carried away with a negative situation, choose to give yourself time to think before speaking your mind. Then you can act wisely, instead of reacting negatively. You can also talk to a positive person to give yourself a boost. </p>
<p>Use these strategies each day to help you overcome negativity and build a positive attitude. Soon you&#8217;ll reap the rewards of a boosted confidence, a stronger self-esteem, and an intense passion!</p>

<p>I find that it makes life more exciting and opens up new opportunities that I never could have imagined. It&#8217;s like the old commercial says: &#8220;You only go &#8217;round once in life, so grab for all the gusto you can!&#8221;</p>
<p>Life is a great adventure and I enjoy it to its fullest! My unflagging spirit of adventure enables me to step outside my comfort zone with anticipation of what I will find along my journey.</p>
<p>Challenging myself to accomplish more brings me accolades at work. I become a more valued employee when I find ways to do more in less time and bring in more value to the company&#8217;s bottom line.</p>
<p>Strengthening my abilities helps me enjoy all aspects of my life. I dare myself to use my abilities to their limit, and then go a little farther. I seek out opportunities to develop new talents and strive to perfect them, too.</p>
<p>In all I do, I welcome the chance to increase my knowledge of the world around me. I maintain a healthy curiosity about everything and I pursue further education so I can achieve greater and greater success.</p>
<p>Today, I challenge myself to learn something new and step outside my comfort zone to push myself past my mental barriers.</p>

In order to live a full and complete life, we must learn how to let go of past failures and disappointments and not carry them with us into our future.</p>
<p>Hanging on to pain, bitterness and disappointment from a past conflict is a heavy burden. It affects your moods, attitudes, relationships, job and all aspects of your life. Negativity eats away at your self-esteem and destroys any possibility of a life free from pain.</p>
<p>Fortunately, there&#8217;s a light at the end of the tunnel! Your future doesn&#8217;t have to be a repetition of your past. You don&#8217;t need to be destined to a life of pain, regardless of what you&#8217;ve already been through. You can lay down your burdens. It&#8217;s okay for you to be free. In fact, you deserve it!</p>
<p>These five steps will help you move forward and find the freedom you need to begin living a fuller, more enjoyable life, regardless of what lies in your past:</p>
<p>1. Talk about it. Discuss your past pain, fear, disappointment or trauma with a trusted friend or family member. Fully express the feelings associated with the situation: cry, scream, or do whatever you need to do to release the bottled up emotions in a safe way.</p>
<p>* Until you really talk about the feelings connected to your past, you may not be able to move past them. Once you&#8217;ve spoken the words, release them from your mind forever. As hard as it may be, it&#8217;s the only way to free yourself from your past. </p>
<p>2. Use a journal. Writing in a journal is an excellent way to pour out your pain. A journal offers the safety of knowing your words are just for you and won&#8217;t be read by anyone else. Don&#8217;t worry about spelling, grammar, or even if the words follow a logical progression, simply write from the heart.</p>
<p>* Physically writing your thoughts and feelings can release your emotions so you can move past them.</p>
<p>3. Seek forgiveness. Many people misunderstand the meaning of forgiveness. Forgiveness doesn&#8217;t mean what happened to you is unimportant or you&#8217;re saying it&#8217;s &#8220;okay.&#8221; In fact, forgiveness isn&#8217;t about the other person at all.</p>
<p>Forgiveness simply means that you&#8217;ve made the choice to let go of the desire to exact revenge and punishment, and you&#8217;ve found closure within your heart and soul. </p>
<p>* Forgiveness releases you from the burden of carrying the pain any longer. By choosing to forgive, you can stop thinking about the past so it won&#8217;t control your future.</p>
<p>4. Seek professional guidance. You can choose to get help from a life coach or therapist.</p>
<p>The people closest to us aren&#8217;t always the best choice to help us work through our pain. It may be difficult for us to fully open up about our deepest pain or it may be hard for them to step back far enough to help us through it.</p>
<p>* Seeking guidance from a professional gives us the safety of relative anonymity, which can make it easier to share our problems. Often a coach or counselor can help us see a new point of view, which can help us move forward.</p>
<p>5. Use alternative therapies. There are many techniques you can use to help change your mindset, which can be instrumental in leaving the past behind.</p>
<p>One method, known as EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique, uses the principles of acupuncture (without the needles!) to help you take the &#8220;charge&#8221; out of your feelings. EFT is done by tapping with your fingertips on the meridian points in the upper part of your body.</p>
<p>* The tapping sequence, combined with verbally expressing your feelings, helps break up the blockage of energy caused by the negative feelings, allowing you to release them.</p>
<p>Hanging onto past negativity isn&#8217;t necessary. No matter what your history contains, you can learn to release it and move forward into a life filled with contentment and joy. Find a method that works for you and begin, today, to let go of the past and move into the life you deserve!</p>

Time is passing and at the New Year we become even more aware of it. Sometimes you feel like you&#8217;ve got all the time in the world to accomplish your dreams, but then you look back and realize how quickly time passes. There are reminders every day that our time on Earth is short. Unfortunately, there&#8217;s no way to predict how much time you&#8217;ve got left, which is exactly why there&#8217;s no time like the present to make your dreams come true! </p>
<p>Concentrate On The Positive</p>
<p>It&#8217;s vital to start with positive thoughts. When you think positively about yourself and your dreams, you&#8217;ll begin to believe that you can achieve anything. These initial positive emotions can lead to a dedicated drive and enthusiasm that&#8217;ll help build lasting momentum. </p>
<p>Remember that nearly everyone feels overwhelmed when you&#8217;re about to embark on a long journey. That&#8217;s exactly why it&#8217;s so easy to fall into negative patterns of thinking, but you must fight these thoughts. It can be hard to imagine that so much can be achieved simply by having positive thoughts, but it&#8217;s true!</p>
<p>The truth is, when you think about something as scary as &#8220;I could die tomorrow,&#8221; it&#8217;s hard not to be drawn into a panic. But instead of worrying about how much time you and your loved ones have left, concentrate on making the present moment as productive as it can be towards your true calling.</p>
<p>Careful Planning</p>
<p>Once you&#8217;ve decided to take action, and you&#8217;ve battled your negative thoughts, it&#8217;s time to make some feasible plans to get you where you want to be. </p>
<p>Keep these tips in mind as you go through your planning phase:</p>
<p>1. Set realistic goals. If your goal is going to take years, give yourself years. You can&#8217;t expect everything to happen overnight. </p>
<p>2. Be specific. Include all the details in your plans. If you stumble along the way, you&#8217;ll be comforted in knowing that you have your detailed plans to help you stay the course. </p>
<p>3. Reward yourself. When you&#8217;ve made progress towards your goal, give yourself a reward. Even if your ultimate goal is far off, it&#8217;s fun and motivating to enjoy rewards as you complete steps toward your goal.</p>
<p>Action In Small Steps</p>
<p>One of the biggest tips when it comes to following your dream is to break down your actions into small, manageable steps.</p>
<p>For example, your goal could be to become an airline pilot or you might want to start your own business. Both of these goals are hefty and have the potential to take years of work and training.</p>
<p>When you first think about these goals, it&#8217;s easy to be scared of how daunting they seem. Instead of resorting to fear, try breaking down these goals into dozens or even hundreds of small steps. Chances are that each small step is not nearly as overwhelming as the big picture.</p>
<p>At the same time, always keep the big picture in mind. When you visualize yourself reaching your end goal, it can be an image that gives you the drive to keep going during tough times.</p>
<p>Inspiring Others</p>
<p>Once you&#8217;ve achieved your goal, consider inspiring others to reach their goals, too. Perhaps you have some friends or family members who say things like, &#8220;I&#8217;ve always wanted to do that,&#8221; but they remain working at their dead end job. </p>
<p>Help them take action!</p>
<p>You&#8217;ll know from experience that, while it may be a risk, the reward is more than worth it.</p>
<p>Yes, following your dreams is even a reward in itself! It brings you joy in the present and hope for the future. So carpe diem &#8211; seize the day!</p>

<p>By now you are probably somewhat familiar with the Law of Attraction. It is very important that you feel positive about what you what so you can attract it. So it should not surprise you that it can be said that Wealth creation all starts with the mind. If you have an abundance attitude and wealth mindset, you&#8217;ll be able to attract the financial success you deserve!</p>
<p>While there are many paths to wealth, once you discover the abundance mindset, you&#8217;ve set yourself up for actually achieving your dreams. But how do you create this mindset in the first place?</p>
<p>Here are some techniques that will help you develop a wealth mindset:</p>
<p>1. Visualize your goal. It&#8217;s not enough to just say you want to &#8220;be rich.&#8221; You have to make the conscious decision to create a clear goal and visualize all the details. It&#8217;s best to focus all of your energy on one thing rather than spreading yourself too thin. </p>
<p>2. Be specific. Break down your goal into minute details and start thinking about the exact steps you need to take in order to get there.</p>
<p>3. Break up the plan. The goal seems huge at first, but once broken down into smaller, more manageable steps, it doesn&#8217;t seem so bad. Focus on each individual task that you need to complete, and then congratulate yourself once you achieve each step.</p>
<p>4. Take action. It&#8217;s easy to get caught up in the daydreaming and planning phases of your goals, but action is what it takes to get you there. Your dreams become realities with action; otherwise they&#8217;ll just remain dreams forever.</p>
<p>5. Seek a mentor. Sometimes people are tempted to go at it alone, but you&#8217;re not alone in this world! There are many out there that would like to see you succeed and it&#8217;s your responsibility to find these like-minded people. Perhaps a business mentor or life coach may be just what you need to give you that extra push.</p>
<p>6. Focus on your thoughts. If you&#8217;re experiencing confidence issues, it&#8217;s important to take time to focus on your thoughts. Do you really believe that you can achieve wealth? Are negative thoughts holding you back? If necessary, remind yourself that wealth is possible and that success is a very real possibility for you as well. </p>
<p>7. Believe you deserve it. Believe that you are worthy of achieving wealth. If you don&#8217;t think that you deserve it, you may unconsciously set yourself up for failure. In turn, you may actually become the roadblock that prevents you from the wealth you deserve.</p>
<p>Believe In Yourself</p>
<p>Do you truly want wealth? Then be willing to follow through on your action plan while maintaining a positive attitude.</p>
<p>In life there are plenty of snags in the road and your path to wealth won&#8217;t always be easy. If you maintain the perseverance to achieve, you&#8217;ll be more willing to seek solutions and find success. </p>
<p>Remember that you have to start somewhere. Take the time to truly appreciate your progress. So for example, if you&#8217;ve doubled your salary, that&#8217;s a huge feat to be celebrated! While you may not be rich yet, you&#8217;ve made progress on the way to wealth. Keep focused on your goal and you&#8217;ll continue to build an unstoppable momentum.</p>

<p>Here is your positive affirmation to help you think positively.</p>
<p>I live my life for today without worries of what may happen tomorrow. The little time I have to spend with my family and friends is valuable, so I squeeze out every last drop of enjoyment as I go. </p>
<p>Playing with my children, spending romantic evenings with my spouse, and laughing with family is what it is all about. I am fortunate to have such a rewarding life and it is only right that I pay my reality the attention it deserves.</p>
<p>Though I plan for a better tomorrow, I cannot allow my dreams and aspirations to interfere with my present. I work hard to obtain what I desire. It would be a shame to miss savoring the fruits of my labor. </p>
<p>I refuse to concern myself with past events or things yet to come. Holding grudges is a waste of energy and daydreaming takes my focus away from the wonderful life I already have. I deserve to enjoy the hours as they pass without worries or distractions. </p>
<p>I live everyday as if it were my last. My insecurities, fears, hopes, and dreams are irrelevant to this moment. I live my life in the now and I am free from the regrets of yesterday. </p>
<p>Today, I enjoy each moment for what it is. I hug, kiss, and spend time with my loved ones regardless of what they may have done yesterday or may do tomorrow. Today is my day to live!</p>

People open doors for you; the waitress is particularly nice to you at lunch. Even the food tastes better. According to the law of attraction, we&#8217;re always transmitting positive or negative energy. Because others pick up on this, they respond likewise. </p>
<p>When you attract like-minded positive people, together you project positive energy. You can focus on obtaining your desires knowing that you have the support you need. Positive people will encourage and support you. On the other hand, negative people will tell you that you can&#8217;t achieve your goals, and that they&#8217;re too hard or unreachable.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re continually bombarded with negative phrases in your thinking, such as &#8220;I just can&#8217;t make ends meet,&#8221; &#8220;There&#8217;s never enough,&#8221; or &#8220;I just can&#8217;t seem to get ahead,&#8221; then you&#8217;re attracting more negativity into your life. </p>
<p>* The universe will always respond to your song, so make your song harmonious with your desires, not your frustrations!</p>
<p>If you find yourself focusing on your small paycheck, physical ailments or unfulfilling relationships, it&#8217;s time to make a change. Maybe your parents were role models of criticism instead of encouragement, or maybe you&#8217;ve always surrounded yourself with negative friends.</p>
<p>Whatever the reason, it&#8217;s time to break this cycle of negativity. Consider raising your standard of expectation. Find people to associate with who emit positive energy.</p>
<p>When seeking other positive people, think of people you admire and identify their traits you especially enjoy. You&#8217;ll be generally attracted to people who have a similar sense of humor or who hold the same set of values.</p>
<p>Here are some ways to attract positive people and create more positive energy in your life:</p>
<p>1. Look for positive qualities in other people. It&#8217;s far easier to see someone&#8217;s faults before seeing their goodness. Challenge yourself to look only for a person&#8217;s good qualities. </p>
<p>2. Be aware of your own finest qualities and project these qualities to the world. This contributes to your self-awareness and increases your self-esteem. </p>
<p>3. Exercise compassion toward everyone, including yourself. Negative energy obsesses about unattainable goals. However, positive energy allows us to realize when we&#8217;re doing the best we can. </p>
<p>4. Value others&#8217; opinions. Positive energy is open-minded. Listen to all points of view and do your best to understand them, regardless of how different from your own they are.<br />
Trying to change someone&#8217;s mind is usually futile, so, even if you&#8217;re right, save your energy, understand their opinion, and move on. </p>
<p>5. Refrain from judging. Give others the benefit of the doubt. Negative energy is critical in judging others and loves finding fault. Judging produces negative energy and attracts more of the same back to you. </p>
<p>6. Be honest. Express your true self in thoughts, words, and actions. </p>
<p>7. Don&#8217;t be afraid to admit to having occasional negative thoughts and emotions. We&#8217;re all human, and negative thoughts are a part of human nature. The key is not to dwell on them. </p>
<p>8. Celebrate the success and happiness of others. Negative energy is jealous, but positive people are thrilled when others succeed. Use someone else&#8217;s success as a motivator to make you a better person. </p>
<p>9. Balance fulfillment and serving others. If you spend your life trying to please others, you may find yourself ignoring your own needs. Positive energy is balanced. </p>
<p>10. Persevere in spite of fear or defeat. We all experience defeat and disappointment! Rather than bemoaning a setback, use it as a chance to learn something new and prepare for your next challenge. </p>
<p>11. Follow your dreams and desires. Embrace your joy every step of the way as you achieve your goals.</p>
<p>People with positive energy approach the world with an open heart and a sense of humor. They refuse to be colored by cynicism and bitterness. They strive to see the best in the world around them, revel in the success of others, and diligently pursue their own goals.</p>
<p>Becoming a positive person today will help you attract more positive people into your life tomorrow. The more positive people that surround you, the more you&#8217;ll feel joy, contentment, and fulfillment in your own life!<br />

The holidays makes it difficult for many people. It won&#8217;t be easy to think positively when you really just want to crawl into a hole and pull the dirt over you. Instead it may be better to take steps to make yourself feel better. That is why I am bringing up this topic now.</p>
<p>Sometimes it&#8217;s hard to look on the bright side even when things are going fairly well. When you&#8217;re going through tough times, gaining the &#8220;glass is half full&#8221; mentality can be a feat in itself! </p>
<p>Don&#8217;t Get Overwhelmed</p>
<p>When you&#8217;re in the middle of a stressful situation, it&#8217;s important to disallow over-anxious and over-analyzed thoughts. You really don&#8217;t want to overwhelm yourself with an over-stimulated mind because the added stress will only strain your mind further and you&#8217;ll find it nearly impossible to think positively.</p>
<p>Ways To Look On The Bright Side</p>
<p>How you go about transforming difficult situations into positive outcomes will differ each time. Your goal should be to discover a set of strategies that works well for you. It might take some experimenting, but that&#8217;s okay!</p>
<p>Consider the following ways to achieve a positive mindset:</p>
<p>1. Avoid feeling sorry for yourself. Feeling sorry for yourself only wastes precious brainpower and it&#8217;s not going to help you out in the long run. Instead, strive to gain the wisdom to accept your situation and focus on solutions, instead of sorrow or worry. Everyone has to travel through tough times at some point; it&#8217;s just a part of life!</p>
<p>2. Find the life lesson. It may be hard to find the silver lining, but it&#8217;s almost always hiding somewhere. All of your experiences &#8211; both good and bad &#8211; contribute to your life&#8217;s knowledge. Be thankful for what you know!</p>
<p>* Reflect on the fact that you&#8217;ve gained wisdom and knowledge that may help you make better decisions and cope well in the future.</p>
<p>3. Start small. Take some time to reflect on the difficult situation. If you&#8217;re having trouble finding a positive manner of thinking, just start by smiling at yourself in the mirror. You might not feel happy right away, but it sure will be hard not to feel happy when you see a beautiful smiling face staring back at you!</p>
<p>* You can also consider the use of positive affirmations to help you through tough times. The more frequently you repeat your affirmations, the sooner you&#8217;ll ingrain the positive beliefs into your subconscious.</p>
<p>4. Stop worrying. When you&#8217;re going through a tough situation, sometimes your worries can overtake you. The future might seem scary and bleak and you&#8217;re not sure what you should do. <p>5. Be brave about change. Change is inevitable and most often you don&#8217;t even notice that it&#8217;s happening. During tough times, however, you&#8217;re likely more sensitive to the changes that are taking place.</p>
<p>* Think about change as an exciting adventure. You&#8217;ll never know what you can discover and learn until you&#8217;re open to change.</p>
<p>Help From Others</p>
<p>When you&#8217;re going through a tough time, your instincts might be to pull inward. Perhaps you don&#8217;t want people to see you in a vulnerable state or you want to solve your problems all on your own. However, you must resist this urge to shut people out! Remember, you&#8217;re never alone. Your family and loved ones are always there to help you get through any challenging situation, but only if you allow them to!</p>
<p>Of course, your loved ones may not be able to solve your problem outright, but they can provide you with a fantastic support system and help you brainstorm different avenues for problem solving.</p>

The word &#8220;willpower&#8221; refers to the fact that we are in control of our actions and the ability to resist temptation. Willpower is extremely helpful when trying to break bad habits or when we are dieting, but it can also be beneficial in other areas of your life as well. </p>
<p>Despite what Dr. Phil said, let&#8217;s continue with our discussion of willpower. Dr. Phil was probably taking into consideration such complications as the effect of addictions, other symptoms, or actions that require behavior modification or possibly even medication. That would indeed require the use of other techniques in addition to the control a person exerts on his own behavior. </p>
<p>It&#8217;s important to realize that we&#8217;re not born with willpower; it&#8217;s something we must nurture and build in ourselves. Once we strengthen our willpower, it&#8217;ll provide us an upper hand in achieving our goals. Why? Because we&#8217;ll develop an unshakeable focus and intensity in purpose!</p>
<p>So how do you go about building your willpower? </p>
<p>Here are four strategies to get you headed in the right direction:</p>
<p>1. Commitment. You must be committed to reaching your goals. If you&#8217;re not completely committed to what you want to accomplish, there&#8217;s no way you&#8217;ll be able to develop any willpower.</p>
<p>* To be successful in achieving your goals, you mustn&#8217;t harbor any second thoughts, excuses, or doubts. Be honest with yourself and know that this is something you truly want to see through until the end. </p>
<p>* Remember, just having the desire will not guarantee accomplishment. You can desire something without firm commitment, so be sure to distinguish between the two and take the appropriate actions.</p>
<p>2. Call on your inner strength. Building your willpower takes perseverance. This is a time to call on your inner strength &#8211; that extra push you need to get through the difficult times. </p>
<p>* You&#8217;ve made a commitment to take a journey to strengthen your willpower and accomplish your most challenging goals &#8211; this is great! The truth is, you&#8217;ll have many days of success, but there will also be days that aren&#8217;t as triumphant. It&#8217;s on those not-so-good days that you can call on your inner strength to get you back on track.</p>
<p>* Everyone has an inner strength and most of us have used it on more than one occasion. Trust in it and it will get you through the rough spots!</p>
<p>3. Ask for support. Building your willpower to achieve a goal is a large undertaking. Sometimes it can be overwhelming. This is why it&#8217;s so imperative that we have support during this time. </p>
<p>* Entrust a friend, spouse, or parent with what you&#8217;re trying to accomplish. That way, when you hit a stumbling block, you have someone you trust to get you back on the right track. </p>
<p>* Your support system will help you through the hard times and celebrate your successes with you.</p>
<p>4. Be consistent. If you have the willpower to stop smoking for one week, that&#8217;s wonderful and should be celebrated. But the only way you&#8217;re going to build your willpower is to do whatever it takes to avoid cigarettes today, tomorrow, and forever. Then soon enough you&#8217;ll be celebrating two weeks, two months, two years, and then forever!</p>
<p>* This strategy applies to any goal that you&#8217;re seriously trying to accomplish. You must be willing to keep up the positive behavior all day, every day, no exceptions, and no excuses.</p>
<p>* Things can only improve as you continue to build your willpower. Keep pushing yourself forward!</p>
<p>Willpower is a tricky concept. We all want to develop it to break a bad habit or reach a particular goal, yet in order to do so, we must be willing to go the extra mile and fully commit ourselves to our success. </p>
<p>If you are committed, you should be commended! Be sure to use these tips to help you build your willpower and celebrate your successes each and every day.</p>

<p>I am relaxed when faced with deadlines because I plan ahead and break my task into manageable pieces. I know that procrastination only makes things more difficult for me, so I start on a project as early as I can in order to ease the pressure as the deadline approaches.</p>
<p>I let go of the idea that things will just come together and instead take the time to make solid plans. I decide early if I&#8217;m going to need more supplies, more research, or more help. This way I have the time to find just what I need in a relaxed and thoughtful manner.</p>
<p>I organize my steps, dividing the task into pieces that I know I can handle. I am far more productive when I choose to do a little bit every day, than if I save it all for a last minute crunch.</p>
<p>I know when to delegate and have people lined up who can help me if, despite my best efforts, I find myself in a bind near the end of a project. Because I have taken the time to help them when they were the ones in need, I know I will be able to count on them to help me.</p>
<p>I am proactive. By approaching each project with care and thoughtfulness, I am confident that I will be able to reach full completion without undue worry.</p>
<p>Self-Reflection Questions:</p>
<p>1. Am I proactive or reactive when faced with a deadline? 2. Do I give myself time to deal with unexpected issues that might arise? 3. Have I fostered a team mentality by my own willingness to help others so I can get help when I need it?</p>
